Coalition’s NBN policy – what does it mean for telehealth?

The Liberal-National coalition has released its National Broadband Network policy.  The main difference from the current implementation is the use of fibre-to-the-node (FTTN) rather than fibre-to-the-premises (FTTP).  This might have consequences for upload speeds, not mentioned in the coalition policy, but vital for home telehealth, where the most important information is uploaded rather than downloaded.  See a more detailed analysis here .
