10,600 new premises in Tasmania connect to NBN

Around 10,600 premises have been switched on to the National Broadband Network (NBN) in Tasmania today.  Areas to be switched on to the fibre network include around 4300 premises in Launceston and some premises in Newstead.  Around 6300 premises in rural and remote areas have been switched on to the NBN’s fixed wireless network in 19 rural and remote areas.  Read more here .
