The Successes and Failures in Telehealth (SFT) conference continues to build on its reputation as one of the leading and most informative events in Australia, highlighting achievements and challenges in the evolving field of telehealth and digital healthcare.  The annual event brings together clinicians, researchers, policy makers, educators, industry leaders, software and hardware vendors, managers, and consumers – creating the perfect forum for collaboration and innovation.

The University of Queensland’s Centre for Online Health and the Australian Telehealth Society (ATHS) are very pleased to invite you to join us in Adelaide, South Australia – from 27-29 November for the 2023 Successes and Failures in Telehealth (SFT-23) conference and 15th Annual Meeting of the ATHS.  The call for abstracts is now open, seeking submissions which cover a wide variety of topics, in the form of either formal research updates and/or clinical reports.

Since the inaugural SFT Conference was held in 2001, thousands of delegates have attended, presented, engaged, and learned about the role telehealth and digital healthcare has in transforming our health system, and improving the delivery of care.  The COVID-19 pandemic has no doubt accelerated the use of telehealth in all healthcare settings, which leads to our next challenge - to generate evidence and develop strategies, which support the integration and sustainability of telehealth.

The SFT-23 conference will include keynote presentations, oral and poster presentations, an industry showcase, panel sessions, and informal sessions which encourage networking with around 250 delegates.  SFT-23 will also offer exclusive workshops to delegates on Day 1 (Monday 27 November 2023) and these will be advertised after the selection of abstracts.  These workshops have been very popular over the years, and typically deliver content for delegates with beginning to advanced levels of telehealth experience.  In addition, the SFT-23 will offer an exclusive trade exhibition, involving all of our exhibitors, sponsors and partner organisations.

SFT-23 early-bird and group registration discounts are now available, and if you are a member of the ATHS, you immediately qualify for a $100 discount.  As an extra benefit this year, anyone registering at the standard rate will automatically receive a complimentary 6-month (valid until June 2024) membership for the ATHS.
